Selection of a traction electric motor for arctic electric transport

چکیده

Aim: selection of a traction motor for electric freight transport operating in the Arctic.
 Methods: To achieve this aim, main characteristics existing types DC and AC motors were considered, as well data on use one or another type modern vehicle.
 Results: A comparative analysis most common has led to 2 leaders - permanent magnet synchronous (PMSM) an induction (IM). Both are fully suitable solving aim. However, it turned out later, PMSM is more often used light vehicles, while IM cases heavier vehicles.
 Conclusion: As result analysis, was decided that Arctic, best option motor.
